The Session

Our Headshot Session is designed to provide you with the relevant marketing materials needed to make you look your best.  Rather than than putting a limit to the number of shots or looks, we shoot until we feel that you have a wide range of looks. Typically, we will end up with 3-4 looks and about 200-300 total shots. We then edit the entire shoot together and narrow it down to the final proofs. These final proofs are images that both of us would be proud to show and this type of collaboration is important to ensure that you are satisfied with the outcome.

After the shoot, I will give you a link to a password protected online gallery.  I encourage you to share the passcode with friends, colleagues, agents, casting directors and anyone else who will help you decide which final files to choose. There is a very interactive comment and rating system built into the proofing site that helps you easily organize your top shots.

Wardrobe

This part is simple. Bring a ton! Choose the piece that make you feel your best, your favorite shirt, blouse, or dress with the perfect scoop neck. Unless we discuss shooting 3/4 or full body shots, you will only need to bring tops. 

Experiment with different cuts, colors, layers and textures. I recommend patterns that are not overly wild.

Hair & Makeup

Hair & Makeup is not required, but highly recommended and available for an additional cost of $75 for men and $150 for women. I have worked with my artists for years and they know exactly what I like and what works on different skin types and shades. The makeup artist sticks around for the whole shoot too. We might start super natural and work our way up, but we take care of that for you, so that you can focus on nailing the shots.

I ask that everyone come in with ‘audition-ready’ hair. We want your headshot to match the way you look in person. My makeup artist will help with minor flyaways, picking up and letting down your hair, but not more than that.

For the fellas, feel free to come in with some facial hair if you can grow it. That way we can shoot you with a few different styles of facial hair and really get a nice range of looks. So bring your razors and other grooming tools.

Retouching & Printing

You will get 2 final images included with your session. These ‘finals’ will then be professionally retouched and delivered digitally. As a quality control measure, and because you always want to put your best foot forward, all of my work is professionally retouched by me or my team. Additional images are $50/ea to cover the editing and post productions.

As far as printing is concerned, I work with a great printing lab, Miller’s Pro Lab. They have years of experience in the industry and handle orders of any size with professionalism and efficiency. Printing is optional.

Cost & Scheduling

The full headshot session is $200 plus tax. There is a $100 deposit required to book a session, this is non-refundable and goes towards the total. I accept cash, check and all major credit cards. (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover)

Please give me at least 72 hour notice should you need to cancel or reschedule, otherwise you forfeit your deposit.
